Who Systemized Media Is

Systemized Media is a lead generation marketing company built specifically for HVAC, Roofing, and Home Service owners who are looking for a dynamic system to help scale their existing operations. Our primary goal here is to help companies achieve consistent, measurable growth with continued 1-on-1 support and guidance from our team every step of the way. 

As many of you reading this likely know, the home services vertical is not easy to serve well (emphasis on well). Things have changed quite a bit when it comes to what it takes to grow in this industry.

Shared leads and strategies that don’t immediately connect back to consistently booked jobs and ROI just aren’t working for most businesses anymore.

This has shaped the way we operate and approach our work. Lead generation systems and growth plans that are specifically adapted to the reality of the industry in any given moment are key to serving our clients effectively.

Using our own results database to understand the nature of each local market across different industries gives us unique insight into what is actually getting our clients the consistent growth they’re looking for, year after year. It allows us to proactively shift our campaign strategies before the market demands it.

This has always been central to how we serve our clients because our founder, Lyle Horst, is an HVAC owner himself.

How We Started

Our founder, Lyle Horst, actually started out as a refrigeration tech before building Systemized Media. This experience gave him a real inside look into where exactly Home Service companies were struggling to maintain their momentum

He had a plan to help companies see continued, consistent growth, and he saw it through by creating a system specifically designed to make that happen. His vision didn’t end here, though. 

After he founded Systemized Media, he set out to prove just how well our system and strategies actually worked. Starting out with just 2 guys and 1 truck, Lyle personally invested in and became a co-owner of TopLine Heating & Air with his buddy Sam.

Using nothing more than the same systems we use for our clients, Systemized Media helped scale TopLine Heating & Air to $70M+ in annual revenue in its first 5 years, along with 400+ employees and 225 trucks on the road.

This is why we believe our approach to lead generation in this industry is quite unique. While it’s certainly important to look at campaign performance from inside an ad account, it’s equally as important to understand first-hand what happens after a lead comes in.

Was the homeowner actually qualified? How fast did the team call? How many times have we followed up with them? Did the inquiry match the job and offer type? Was the appointment booked? Did the comfort advisor or estimator have the right context? Did the job close? Did the revenue justify the spend?

The answers to these questions became a baseline for the way we operate and measure our clients’ success.

TopLine gives us a clear view of the operational side of growth, and it also makes us more careful with the promises we make to business owners. We prioritize helping our clients scale in a way they can actually make the most of.

We work exclusively with residential Home Service companies that are looking to scale and in the position to take on more install and replacement volume.

What most of these specific industries have in common is a focus on higher ticket jobs. This focus works particularly well for paid social media campaigns because the return on investment more immediately justifies the spend. 

For example, just 1 install or replacement each month would cover both ad spend and management fees, plus additional returns on top. But it’s important to remember that paid social campaigns take time, consistency, and effort.

Our strongest partnerships are with owners who have a clear idea of where they want the business to go, who have the internal infrastructure to make it happen and are dedicated to following and trusting our entire process.

The systems we’ve built are geared more towards the full revenue process than standard lead generation services. We make a point to track every variable because the decisions we make alongside our clients need to be truly informed by the data. 

When we see that something is off, we do not treat it as someone else’s problem. We know where to look for the gap and then work with our clients to fix it. 

We do run ads, build campaigns, and track cost per lead, but we recognize that the amount of leads a campaign produces is only one part of the picture.

The targeting, creative, follow-up, reporting, and client communication all need to work together, or else the additional lead volume can end up creating more stress without creating enough revenue. 

Generating leads simply for the sake of it would be a disservice to all of our hardworking clients who trust us with the growth of their businesses.
